About the Artist

Ernest D'Agrosa Jr. is a fine artist & painter in the classical tradition of the Old Masters. He is devoted to conveying the True, Good, and the Beautiful. 

Born in 1981 in The Bronx, NY, he always had a fascination for art ever since he could hold a pencil. Growing up in an Italian American and Catholic home he was exposed to lots of beautiful works of art. He is largely self-taught. He specializes in Portraits and figurative work, landscapes, still life, as well as scenes that illustrate The Bible, the Catholic faith, and mythology. He is most influenced by Raphael, Caravaggio, and Rembrandt. 

An Iraq War veteran. He now lives and works in Greenville, Texas along with his wife and their miniature schnauzer. They are parishioners of St William the Confessor Catholic Church and Ernest is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
